Mind you I was tucked up with this month's Carp World in front of the fire this weekend so I can't comment

still 1 weekend to go dont count me out just yet but the temprature here has dropped dramatically and the carp are almost none existent

Went out in the wet, sat in the wet and came home in the wet. I think most of the carp were dryer than I was - couldn't actually check that as none of them came out of the water !

Still I will give it another go Wednesday as long as it stays dry, if not I will go when it does decide to stay dry 'cos I am getting heartily sick of fishing in the rain !

That's a cracking fish, but unfortunately it cannot be entered under the current rules. I am sorry about this but the rule in question states:

"We also ask you to put you name down on any weekend thread to state you will be fishing, we can set our excitement levels appropriately."

Unfortunately, you didn't put your name down

It's a great shame because it is a real beauty.

i didnt catch them both in the same session, but i did have them both within 3 weeks of each other, this new bait im fieldtesting does seem to be doing well this season! ive notched up well over a hundred 20's and a handful of other 30's this year so far thats without counting the hundreds of singles and doubles. a good year so far, lets just hope i can get my first uk 40 soon
