Please familiarise yourselves with the fishery rules: http://www.manorfarmfishing.co.uk/rules_44.html

Swims will be selected by a watercraft draw. There are a number of double swims on the lake which may come in very handy. It should be remembered that while we have exclusive use of the lake during the night, this is not the case during the day and swims may well be occupied by other anglers, both when we arrive and subsequently.

It is not possible to drive around the lake perimeter so please bring a barrow if you have one. There is a secondary car park behind peg 10.

It will probably be necessary to put a bit of bait out so please bring some basic spod mix components with you. I suggest hemp (prepared!), sweetcorn, pellets and groundbait. However, I’m sure the experienced anglers will be prepared to help out with spod mix advice and the loan of a spod rod if needed.

We will be fishing in pairs or threesomes as follows:

tryzard (Alan), mrs britcarp (mandy) & littlemissbritcarp (Topsey)
britcarpalltheway (Simon), the stalker (Luke) & bigfrenak (Craig)
cowley (Steve), SteveW1805 (Steve) & infra (Rob)
carpdance (Mickey) & mtjffry (Mat)

Please assemble at the fishery at 7Am on 27th October.
Calm down, they're only fish!

That would be great Craig. Tell them that we have another young'un (littlemissbritcarp aka Topsey) attending the Learning Day - that might help.

Beer Monitor: SteveW1805

I don't know. A chap goes out of his way, has a couple of cold ones on a blazing hot day, and straight away gets demoted to "beer monitor".

Oh well. You know what they say? "If the hat fits ..." :D

Is this an over-nighter then? If so I wouldn't be able to fish the night, only the day.

I'll have to get back to everybody on this one. I'll promise to give a definite answer as and when I know what is happening.
